The Department for Education has introduced a statutory duty for schools to promote British Values more actively from September 2014 and to ensure they are taught in schools.
Busill Jones Primary School is committed to serving its community. It recognises the multi-cultural, multi-faith and ever-changing nature of the United Kingdom. It also understands the vital role it has in ensuring that groups or individuals within the school are not subjected to intimidation or radicalisation by those wishing to unduly, or illegally, influence them.
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and are independent and impartial. They inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
Every week, hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England are carried out, and the results are published online.
Our Ofsted reports can be viewed on their official web site.
